patient with facial swelling - clinical case

patient came with facial swelling to the clinic



facial asymmetry





before surgery .. swelling in the mucobuccal fold opposite to tooth # 15
4 local anesthetic carpule "Lidocain with adrenaline" ,one infraorbital nerve block .. one palatal infiltration & two buccal injection






After surgery "extraction of # 15 & drainage of the pus"
- post surgical instruction
- prescription:
amoxicillin 500mg TDS 5 days,
mitronidazole 400mg TDS 5days,
 ibobrufen 400mg QDS 3days

The most important when you want to document the facial swelling is; to take a picture for the swelling on the same position of your 1st picture to compare between the 2 sides.
